National Masonry offer granite spray cleaner and machines for hire
Machinery and consumables company National Masonry have secured sole UK distributorship for a granite worktop cleaner, polish and sealer in one spray.
And they have expanded their services to customers by offering site equipment for hire as well as sale.
Andy Bell, owner of National Masonry in Bishop Auckland, Co Durham, says of the worktop cleaner: "For years our clients have given away very expensive granite cleaner kits to their customers, which is a coutesy all well and good. But the problem is, nobody uses them! The reason being, the care kits comprise of four creams, polishes and liquids that end users find difficult and time consuming to use.
"New Granite Clean & Sheen has been developed as a regular use spray that cleans, polishes and protects all in one every time end users need to clean their worktops, instead of using a sponge and water, which leaves streaks."Granite Clean & Sheen could scarcely be easier to use - it is simply sprayed on. Clients are looking after their worktops on a regular basis and masons get regular repeat sales because the product is being used as a regular cleaner.
Fitters will also like the product because it is so easy to clean the worktop once it has been installed. And the spray can simply be left with the customer with details of where to buy more of it.
The recommended retail price of Granite Clean & Sheen is £24, offering a good margin on a trade price from National Masonry of £8.50.
And for contractors who want to use machinery on site, National Masonry are now offering a hire service. They have up to 50 machines available and offer a wide range of machines for cutting and shaping stone up to a 3m bench saw.
"I just want to attack things from a different angle to make sure I\'m giving my customers a choice," says Andy. "Many of them buy a saw for just one project and then have to find room for it in their workshop.
