Brachot-Hermant, the Belgian-based international stone company with a depot in Birmingham, has taken over Stone Developments and its Belgian business of Erinstone from Sisk Group.
Brachot-Hermant already owns Kilkenny Limestone and the two quarries it obtains with Stone Developments give it the three largest sources of Irish Blue limestone.
Brachot-Hermant says these three quarries annually produce more than 75,000m3 of Irish Blue stone – more than 80% of the annual production.
Brachot-Hermant says its purchase of the quarries and processing yards will ensure continuity of supply of 1st choice material to strict Belgian quality standards.
You can read about the Stone Developments business Brachot-Hermant has bought in the December issue of Natural Stone Specialist magazine.
