The Reading-based stonemason A F Jones is set for further expansion as owner Angus Jones welcomes his brother Ken into the business. They are the fifth generation of their family at the firm.

Ken Jones is a structural engineer whose projects with Buro Happold Engineering, where he has worked for the past 17 years and which he leaves as a Director, have included the 2012 London Olympic Stadium and its recent transformation. He joins the family business as Commercial Director and Business Partner.

Angus said: “I am delighted that Ken is joining us. His appointment is a measure of our continued success.” The still growing company has lately installed a new OMAG Blade 5 CNC workcentre and expanded its facilities at Ipsden.
