Cumbrian stone company Burlington has extended its hard landscaping proposition with the launch of a range of standard landscaping products.
Nick Williams, the company’s Commercial Director, says: “Burlington Stone is synonymous with British heritage. With all of our traditional stone having been extracted from Lake District quarries since 1843, and the quality is assured.”
Burlington, part of the Holker Group of Companies owned by the Cavendish family who reside at Holker Hall, has supplied hard landscaping for two centuries. Today it uses a mixture of time-honoured traditional techniques and cutting-edge technology to offer a wide range of hard landscaping (and other) products. But it has concentrated on supplying bespoke products for larger schemes – and will continue to supply stone in that way. But now it is also making a standard range of products for the garden market and smaller project.
“We are extremely excited to be extending our offer … and introducing the traditional Burlington standard of natural stone to a new audience,” says Nick Williams.
One of the benefits of a standard range is short lead times and the price benefits of extended production runs, making the range an accessible option for a wider customer base.
The dimensional paving and decorative aggregates are available in a range of materials from the 11 quarries that Burlington operates, including Cumbrian Black, Westmorland Green and Baycliff limestone.
