It is not easy to carry a lot of samples of stone around, but now you don’t have to because you can use your tablet to show customers any number of surfaces in actual rooms, thanks to a new App from Cereser – and it’s free.
Stone samples have to be fairly small to be moved around, which means they might not show your customer the true impact of a whole worktop, floor or wall. It can be difficult to get the whole picture. But with Cereser’s augmented reality App, you can show customer’s a finished room in whatever material you choose.
Ideally, of course, the actual slab to be used should be seen by the customer in real life so they can appreciate all its qualities, both visual and tactile. But in response to initial enquiries, either in customers’ homes or in showrooms, the Cereser App is an ideal dynamic and engaging initial response to enquiries presented on a medium that is familiar.
The App is custom-designed for fabricators, kitchen studios and designers, although it can also be used by clients. It takes real-time readings using specially made markers to allow the visualization of full size samples and practical applications, such as sinks and hobs.
The clients are also given the option to continue the augmented reality experience in their own home. Thanks to a special card kit, customers can scan the markers that will transform into tiles available in various thicknesses and materials from Cereser, including the six latest new lines introduced at Marmomacc in Verona at the end of September.
You can get the App from the App Store and Google Play.
