Cliveden Conservation offers clients winter covers for their statues

Cliveden Conservation has it covered.

Cliveden Conservation is telling owners and managers of gardens and parks that it is selling ‘Winter Covers’ for sculptures and decorative stonework.

But they need to be ordered now before the cold and rainy weather arrives because they take two-to-six weeks to supply from the time they are ordered because they are made-to-measure.

They comprise three layers – a waterproof and windproof outer layer, an inner layer made from a high-density weave fabric to prevent moisture absorption while allowing the object to ‘breathe’, and an internal insulating fibre to reduce temperature differentials. The shape allows air to circulate to prevent condensation.

They are light and easy to fit and remove. And when not in use they can be stored in bags supplied ready for the next time they are needed.

Cliveden says its Winter Covers are a simple yet cost effective protection for valuable artwork.
