In case the Spanish food was not hot enough, there was even fire eating at the grand opening of Cosentino's newest Centre in Newmarket, East Anglia, on Friday 26 April.
The Newmarket Centre is the ninth opened in the UK and Ireland by Cosentino. It is a comprehensive logistics and showroom facility that solidifies the company's presence in the region, demonstrating, it says, its commitment to expanding and providing quality surfaces to its ever-growing customer base.
The new 3,000m2 centre represents an investment of £500,000 and stocks 4,000 slabs of Silestone quartz, Dekton ultracompact sintered stone and Sensa sealed granite. This will enable quick distribution to a customer base of stone fabricators and designers to end users and architects.
Covering East Anglia and the East Midlands, the new Cosentino Centre is headed by General Manager Ross Stewart overseeing a team of nine staff. Having first joined the company as a client manager, Ross has moved from General Manager at the Gloucester Centre to join the Newmarket team.
The grand opening saw a packed evening of Spanish tapas, plenty of fizz, and entertainment including a DJ, fire artists, and dancers painted to emulate the marble-inspired looks in the Eternal Collection from Cosentino's Silestone quartz surfaces.
