Marchetti Stone is a family run business with an outstanding reputation within the stone industry. Marco Marchetti, who is the founder of Marchetti Stone, has more than 30 years experience in the stone trade and under his direction the company has gained a name synonymous with both quality and a first class service, with the know-how of all aspects, from manufacturing to supply and fitting.

Marchetti Stone has invested in both its production facilities and personnel over time, which has helped the company stay in front both in terms of quality and meeting clients' expectations. The company is always looking to join forces with new, like minded customers who require a top quality product delivered on time every time.

Marchetti Stone's clients range from the consumer who wishes to buy stone worktops to international companies wanting the fitout of luxury properties, bars, nightclubs, hotels, reception areas and restaurants. “We value all our customers, no matter how large or small,” says Marco.

The 35 members of staff employed include Paris Marchetti, who looks after the sales and the showroom, and Tayla and Mawgan Marchetti, on the admin side.

Marchetti Stone is a relatively new company, formed in 2007. But Marco comes from a family of stonemasons originally from Carrara in Italy. His father and grandfather worked in the quarries extracting the famous Carrara marble and Marco himself has been in the business the whole of his working life.

His company has opened an impressive showroom in Leigh-On-Sea, Essex, displaying many types of stone in many finishes, as well as a large range of specialist tiles, giving the customer a greater choice for their projects, however large or small.

The experienced sales team can help with customer choice and recommend the best material to bring the beauty of stone that step closer. As well as natural stone, Marchetti Stone is also a Gold Fabricator of Silestone and Dekton from Cosentino and an approved fabricator of Lapitec.

It has also introduced Laminam, a natural clay-based ceramic slab product fired to approximately 1200ºC to give it extremely tough wearing properties that make it the next generation in worktops, flooring and wall cladding.

This lightweight, Italian-made alternative to quartz is a new concept of surface – tough, hardwearing and scratch resistant, making it 100% maintenance free. It is ideal for interior and exterior cladding, kitchen worktops (both residential and commercial), bathrooms and wet rooms, floors, walls, furniture, boat building and staircases. It can be used anywhere, even hospitals, and comes in slab sizes of 3m x 1m that are 3, 5 and 7mm thick. There are 14 different collections offering 108 variations.

Marco says: “Our quality craftsmen pride themselves on their flexibility onsite, which ensures that, should any problems arise, they work with the client to overcome any obstacles where possible. Without this attitude many of our corporate customers would not continue to place orders with us year after year. Trust is a valued commodity at Marchetti Stone.

“All our templating and fitting teams are fully qualified tradesmen with a wealth of experience. They take great pride in their work. Their knowledge and experience offers our clients an exclusive service in both supply and fitting of all stone products.”
