Welsh//Slate have donated £500 to Hafan Menai, the Day Hospice for Gwynedd Hospice at Home, to mark three months with no lost time incidents.

“We began our health & safety charity scheme about two years ago to help the team at the quarry to keep health & safety front of mind and to incentivise them to implement the company’s best practice policies at all times,” explains Mark Hodgkinson, Production Director at Penrhyn Quarry.

“For each consecutive three-month period with no lost time incidents Welsh//Slate donate £500 to charity and we ask the team to nominate a local charity to receive the cash.”
