While the market waits for the promised game changing 30mm Dekton, Cosentino, which manufactures ultra-compact surface, has this month (October) added three new shades to its Industrial collection.
They are called Nilium, Radion and Orix. They join the award-winning Trilium.
The Industrial Collection is designed to have a gritty, contemporary, urban feel, with the look of concrete and metal that has spent some time in an industrial environment. The range has a matte-gloss finish not seen before on Dekton.
As part of Cosentino’s commitment to promote a circular economic model and reduce waste, Trilium and Radium are made using 80% recycled materials.
The range was produced in collaboration with architect and designer Daniel Germani.
He says: “The Dekton Industrial collection was created so as to contemplate the beauty of metals and cement at every stage of their life. It pays homage to the beautiful imperfections of the oxidation and degradation processes undergone by certain materials. The incomparable technology of Dekton gave us the tools necessary to explore and design, and the result is a collection of colours that highlight the richness and depth of natural, organic processes.”
Like all Dekton, the Industrial collection comes is slabs up to 1440mm x 3200mm and 20mm, 12mm and 8mm thicknesses.
