Pennant paving unites the old and the new

Forest Pennant, specialists in Forest of Dean Pennant sandstone products, have supplied paving, steps and a range of kerbs for a new 2.5hectares Tesco superstore development in Ilminster, Somerset. Forest Pennant natural stone has been used around the site to unite the new development with the older, more traditional surroundings of the market town.

Nick Caddy, site manager from Britannia Construction, commented: "Forest Pennant\'s natural stone has met all the requirements as specified by Somerset County Council. The uniformity of the stone was crucial in achieving a high quality, traditional and conserved look in this modern development."

Forest Pennant specialise in sawn and dressed building stone, cropped walling stone and bespoke architectural masonry as well as a wide range of Pennant sandstone hard landscaping products.
