The Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental Executive has launched a new accident and illness reporting service designed to make reporting easier and reduce paperwork.

Employers are required by law to report all work-related health and safety incidents specified in the Reporting of Injuries, Diseases & Dangerous Occurrences Regulations 1995 (RIDDOR).

Now they will be able to submit their reports by internet, e-mail, \'phone, fax or post. The information about the reports will be added, as they are reported, to a RIDDOR report website showing incidents broken down by type, geographical region and sector.
