New Pedrini bridge saw goes on show

Pedrini, the Italian machinery manufacturers best known for their production lines, are continuing their move into the one-off machinery market with the introduction of a new bridge saw, the LUX M920.

Pedrini machinery is sold in the UK by Accurite, who will be putting one of the new saws on display at their premises in Ulverston, Cumbria, and who will be exhibiting it at the Natural Stone Show in ExCeL (14-16 March).

Mark Brownley, managing director of Accurite, says of the new saw: "Pedrini have carried out a lot of research on what\'s in the market and they have come up with this machine in the best traditions of Pedrini manufacturing - they go over the top in engineering so you get a lot for your money."

The M920 has the tool head moving on two oil-bath \'V\' guides for smooth movement and long tool life. The bridge moves on roller cages in oil baths on two guides protected against dust and water and with a Cyclo Drive ratiomotor and a clearance recovery device for accuracy.

Vertical movement includes an easy clearance adjusting system for accuracy evenb after many years of operation.

The saw is available with CNC touch screen and options such as manual or motor driven rotating benches, with or without tilt, inverter for head speed adjustment, laser profile copying and a lathe.
