Pedrini introduce new bridge saw
Italian company Pedrini have launched a new model of bridge saw. Called the Solar M945, it is available in the UK through distrubutors Accurite in Consiton, Cumbria.
The Solar M945 features a 1.6m diameter blade and a usable cut capacity in length of 4m. It fits into the company\'s range above the LUX M920 (with a blade size up to 725mm) and the UNIVERSAL M940 (blade up to 900mm).
Solar M945 is an automatic cycle machine for cutting blocks up to 620mm thick. It is equipped with a vanishing disk guard, reducing the noise level, and has a sturdy frame with two front columns and one rear column, supporting and driving the spindle in a vertical stroke of 700mm.
The spindle is controlled by twin motors installed in the upper platform, an innovation that reduces the machine\'s overall height and improves weight distribution to balance the vertical drive.
Two \'V\' guides in the bridge structure provide a wide supporting and guide base for the carriage, ensuring straight cuts and prolonging the life of tools. The saw can be programmed to make a \'Swinging\' cut to eliminating unproductive stops at each end of the stroke.
