WELCOME. Stone and machinery suppliers Pisani welcomed 150 visitors from 76 companies to their depot near Matlock in Derbyshire in June to see the latest stones and equipment on offer from the company. On display for the first time by Pisani was an Intermac Master CNC workcentre, Pisani having taken on sales of the marque last year. During the open days, which included a Saturday morning for the first time, four orders were placed for the Master 33 on show and an order for a different specification was taken. There was also the chance for visitors to see the latest saws from GMM, that staple of the British stonemasonry workshop, that have rotating heads rather than rotating tables. And when visitors had seen all the latest stone and machinery, they were able sit down and enjoy a lavish spread of food and drink with their hosts.
