The Prince of Wales has become patron of the Cathedral Fellowship that has been set up by the nine cathedral masonry workshops in the UK with the aim of becoming an important part in the teaching of traditional masonry skills (see NSS January issue). The announcement of the Prince becoming patron co-incided with his visit to Lincoln Cathedral in celebration of the completion of the 18-year restoration of the Dean\'s Eye rose window in French Anstrude limestone.
