QEST skills at Fortnum & Masons for Queen’s anniversary
Fortnum & Mason, one of London’s top shops, is celebrating The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee with a QEST Crafting Excellence selling exhibition. It opened on 6 February and continues until 29 July.
The Queen Elizabeth Scholarship Trust (QEST) provides bursaries to help craftspeople develop there skills. Many stonemasons have benefited from the bursary over the years and three of them – Tom Brown, Will Davies and Andrian Melka – have work included in the exhibition at Fortnum & Mason.
They are among 32 carefully selected scholars who are exceptional within their chosen field, instantly evident from the range of pieces on show that are available to purchase in the store.
The exhibition filters throughout the store, reaching all departments, highlighting and celebrating Fortnum & Mason’s on-going commitment to support for artisans and inspirational craftwork. craftsmanship.
