Stone Federation is planning another stone heritage training day with Historic England in London, this time on 20 November. You can register your interest in taking part with NSITG and Stone Federation Training Officer Claire Wallbridge by emailing claire@nsitg.org.uk.

Historic England delivered its first one-day presentation on Stone Conservation, Restoration & Repair in February as part of the Stone Federation Professional Practice Programme for NVQ Level 3. It proved so successful that the event was held again in May, this time as a CPD independent of the NVQ. Those who attended the first two events were full of praise for them.

The Stone Restoration, Conservation & Repair CPD day on 20 November will once again be delivered by Historic England at its London offices on the 4th Floor of Cannon Bridge House, 25 Dowgate Hill, London, EC4R 2YA.

CITB will contribute towards costs, which means the day is available to Stone Federation members at a reduced fee of £120 per person.

The CPD is presented, as before, by Alison Henry, Historic England's Head of Building Conservation & Geospatial Survey in the Technical Conservation Department, and Clara Willett, Historic England's Senior Architectural Conservator.
