Savings machinery can make are spelt out at Pisani open days

Pisani, the stone and machinery wholesalers, wanted to give their machinery open days at their depot near Matlock, Derbyshire, this month (September) a new look by formalising them into a seminar to spell out the time savings that can be achieved by modern machinery. In a test comparing the GMM Egil with a standard bridge saw, production of identical worktops was cut from 2hrs 10mins to 47mins, and that incuded 10 minutes on the AutoCAD. Pisani machinery salesman Arran Langford prepared the presentation. And visitors to the Pisani open days were able to see the time-saving GMM in action alongside an Intermac CNC Master 33 workcentre that Pisani also sell. Marmo Meccanica edge polishers and other machines from Pisani were also on display during the open days.
One of Pisani’s visitors at Matlock was Stephen King (pictured above), who bought Middle Peak Marble 18 months ago. He came from the glass industry and was looking to upgrade from an inherited Ghines Systhema to a CNC workcentre.
