Space sales well ahead

Next month (October) orders will start to be accepted from companies that want to exhibit at the 2006 Natural Stone Show at ExCeL, London, who were not there this year, although an amazing 74% of exhibitors at this year\'s show, who get first refusal, have reserved their space at ExCeL for 2006.

"It indicates the general level of success at the 2004 Show that so many companies want to return to the next Show," says Richard Bradbury, the Natural Stone Show manager. "And it supports what our research shows - that ExCeL is the preferred venue for most exhibitors and most visitors."

Of course, a reservation does not always turn into an order. But even if they were all confirmed, Richard says a rush of new exhibitors can be accommodated because there is some scope to increase the floor space available for the 2006 Show at ExCeL. And it is expanded simply by sliding the wall along, so there are no \'dead\' areas in hidden corners.

ExCeL is now well established as the premier exhibition site in London. It is just 20 minutes on Docklands Light Railway or London Underground from the City and even less on the new Light Railway link with London City Airport.

The new rail link with the airport will make a visit by all those Scottish, Irish and Continental visitors who fly in even easier. And when they arrive at the Show there will be whole industry to view, from indigenous and overseas stone and stone product supplies to all the latest in stone working machinery and fixing and cleaning techniques.

The new hotels built to service the exhibition centre make a stay convenient and comfortable.
