Waters Edge, a gated sanctuary development of second homes with their own moorings on the River Nene in Cambridgeshire, has already used 20,000 Cupa 5 pale grey roofing slates in phase one of the project and a similar amount has now been specified for the soon to commence second phase. Cupa produce more than 150,000tons of slate a year from their 16 quarries and say they supply one in every four natural roofing slates used around the world. Their slates going to Waters Edge are being supplied by Harris Slate, headquartered in Wales.
