South-east London terrazzo and stone specialist Diespeker was chosen as Manufacturer of the Year  in the under £25million turnover class in Media company Insider's Made in the South East Awards presented at the Hilton Hotel, Gatwick, last night (24 November).

The event recognised manufacturing companies that have demonstrated success in innovation, product development and growth in either domestic or overseas markets.

Diespeker MD John Krause was delighted when his company was announced as the winner. He said: "It was a great evening celebrating manufacturing in the South East. There is clearly a huge amount of innovation and expertise in the region. We have had the most amazing couple of years and it is a real pleasure to have the hard work of everyone involved acknowledged by this award.”

To add to the excitement, Diespeker now goes through to the national final, the Made in the UK Awards 2018, which take place in June 2018 in Liverpool.
