Stone Federation Members Day moved to 26 October
Stone Federation Great Britain's Members Event and AGM due to be held at Manchester’s five-star The Lowry Hotel on Wednesday 29 April has been postponed. It has been rescheduled for Monday 26 October.
Stone Federation has published the following advice for its members:
- We would ask that members refrain from shaking hands at Stone Federation meetings or events.
- We would ask that any individuals displaying the symptoms of coronavirus or who have come back from any of the high-risk areas not to attend SFGB meetings or events
- We would also like to draw your attention to the guidance given by the government for employees, employers and businesses.
Stone Federation says it will continue to monitor the situation and the advice from the government around gatherings such as the Members Event.
The Members Event is, as the name suggests, for members only and includes the annual general meeting of the Federation. Places can be booked by emailing sara@stonefed.org.uk or online here.
One of the guest speakers at this year's rescheduled event is Peter Schofield, Head of Integrated Commissioning & Procurement at Manchester City Council.
The annual gathering of Stone Federation members from across Great Britain provides an ideal opportunity for members to keep their fingers on the pulse of what is going on within Stone Federation and the natural stone sector as a whole, as well as networking with other leading companies in the stone sector, which is one of the significant benefits of belonging to the Federation.
