One of Cosentino’s approved Silestone fabricators in the UK, Stone Masters in London, have been awarded the prize for International Stone Fabrication at the XXVI Macael Awards from the Empresarios del Marmol Association of Andaluciia, Spain, which recognises excellence in architecture and design. 

Stone Masters were awarded the prestigious prize for their work on a high profile commercial and residential development at Gunwharf Quays in Portsmouth. They supplied and installed Silestone kitchen worktops and bathroom vanity tops in 141 apartments built by the Berkeley Group.

Shaiu Shah, Managing Director of Stone Masters, went to Spain to collect the Award before Christmas.There was an international audience of 600 people at the Awards ceremony.

Stone Masters have worked with Silestone on many projects, including Wembley Stadium and the recently refurbished American Airlines lounge at Terminal Three in Heathrow Airport. Many of the Silestone worktops in such projects have been complex and involved elaborate machining.
