Stone hard landscaping specialists CED are project partners for Butterfly World at St Albans, Hertfordshire, a ‘Future Gardens’ feature of which opened last month (June) for four months to attract public attention ahead of the opening of the whole 27-acre site in 2011.

Butterfly World is being created by enthusiast Clive Farrell. Its patrons are actress Amelia Fox and botanist David Bellamy. There are 12 Future Gardens of 100m2 each that 12 designers were given £25,000 each to create.

CED have supplied more than 1,000tonnes of materials to the project and will be supplying a lot more before 2011.
