Levantina opens major project centre at Spanish headquarters

Spanish stone company Levantina, with UK warehouses near Rotherham, South Yorkshire, and Basingstoke, Hampshire, has opened what it believes is the industry’s first major projects centre at its headquarters in Alicante.

In an area of nearly 1,000m2, the main materials in Levantina’s product range are displayed alongside innovative construction solutions developed by the company – such as its Techlam rainscreen system.

The new Centre is designed to meet the requirements of architects, interior designers and consultants on large projects who will be able to use the full range of consultancy services available from Levantina’s Technical Office.

Levantina will be able to monitor large projects anywhere in the world from the new Project Centre, which is a perfect place for customers to check at first hand their choices from the Levantina ranges before they are shipped. The projects can then be supplied quickly and efficiently with already approved product.

Hankyu Department Store (Japan) and the Conrad Algarve hotel complex (Portugal) are two of the first projects benefitting from the new Projects Centre. Levantina is the stone consultant and supplier of the stone for the projects.

Levantina’s Technical Office grew out of the company’s experience in just this area of major projects.

Incorporating value engineering and managing the whole project in an integrated fashion removes opportunities for misunderstandings and guarantees a completely successful outcome.
