With all the economic indicators for the UK looking positive and growth forecasts being revised upwards, stands at the Natural Stone Show at ExCeL London next year (28-30 April 2015) are rapidly being snapped up.

The ‘stone village’ of members of Stone Federation Great Britain around the Federation’s own stand at the heart of the Show is 45% bigger this time to accommodate the growing number of Federation members – companies that form the backbone of the stone industry in the UK – wanting to exhibit.

Companies in the Stone Village include Doulting Stone, Harrison Goldman, Associated Stone Group, Jupiter Heating Systems, Bath Stone, Sandberg, Stewart Design, The Johnston Quarry Group, Dry-Treat, Ardex, Albion Stone, Forest of Dean Stone Firms, Lovell Stone Group…. If you are a Stone Federation member and want to join them you will have to hurry. As we went to press there were just three stands left.

Show Director Richard Bradbury told NSS: “There has been more interest in the Natural Stone Show from the stone industry in the UK this time than there has been since 2008, which is a good indication that business is picking up for companies in the stone sector as well as the economy as a whole.

“There has been a lot of interest from overseas as well. With the UK growing fastest in Europe, suppliers internationally are looking for the UK to give their businesses the growth their home markets are not providing.

“It’s all looking incredibly promising for the stone industry to be really promoting what it has to offer customers in the UK and Ireland when it gathers at ExCeL in London next year.”
