Stonegate introduces the Tempest
Stonegate Precision Tooling says it is introducing the next generation of stone cutting with its new Tempest diamond bridge saw blade.
The Tempest segments use nine layers of latest technology diamonds carefully arranged into 26mm segments – that’s 80% larger than on most comparable blades.
The result is performance stone cutting at higher speeds.
The strategically placed diamonds ensure they reach full cutting potential, achieving a 2-3m/min feed rate through engineered stone and at least 2m/min through granite.
Cost-effectiveness is important and Stonegate says the Tempest reduces costs from about £16.80 per millimetre of stone sawn to about £12.28 per millimetre.
Damian White, Stonegate’s newly appointed Sales Manager (see the announcement on the right), says: “The Tempest blade shows our customers we mean business. It really is a no-brainer to us why our customers should choose this next-generation of diamond bridge saw blade. Whether you’re looking for performance, speed and power, or simply a more cost-effective large diamond blade, the Tempest has you covered.”
