Achieving a perfect gloss finish on engineered stone has always been something of a challenge for worktop manufacturers. Now there is a solution: Aztec Ultimax V3 pads available in the UK only from Stonegate.

Most diamond abrasives pads are designed for use on granite and marble and the finish on engineered quartz was always something of a compromise. 

Polishing a composite material that includes quartz, glass, resin and other materials, has always been more difficult than working with natural stone and has led to colour migration and burning. 

Working closely with worktop manufacturers, Aztec has developed its new Ultimax V3 pads specifically for use on engineered stone. 

Building on the success of the Ultimax V2 pads, the new V3 pads are fast-working with both wet and dry polishing and represent a step change in engineered stone processing. 

The all-white resin eliminates the risk of colour migration on to the product. It is flexible and delivers excellent product life. 

And a major advantage of Ultimax V3 is that while it is designed specifically to give a superior finish on engineered stone, it is just as effective on natural granite and marble.

Customer feedback has been positive. Users at S&R Stoneyard say they used the pads on their Commanduli Speedy to polish a 10mm pencil rounded edge on grey engineered stone. “The polish is the best polish we’ve seen – not a mark on it. And you can put our name to that!”
