Stonewest scoop awards for Health, Safety, Ethical & Environmental

Francisco Aranyosi, forman for stone and conservation specialists Stonewest, has scooped an award for his contribution to health and safety at Grade I listed Kings Cross railway station where Stonewest are specialist sub-contractors carrying out stone, brick and stucco repairs on the station’s Western Range.

Franciso, who received the award from principal contractors Taylor Woodrow, was praised for his commitment to safe working practices, excellent housekeeping and near miss reporting on this prestigious project.

Stonewest were also commended for the ‘Happy Board’ they created as a meeting point and display area of safety information for the benefit of everyone working on the site.

Previously, Stonewest received a Gold Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents for their work on the station’s Eastern Range.
