The story of pennant

Richard Porch, part of Swansea’s regeneration team, has, as he puts it, managed to coax some grant money out of the Curry Fund of the Geologists’ Association to produce, in conjunction with the National Waterfront Museum, a small leaflet about the Pennant stone from the local Gwrhyd Quarry used in much of the hard landscaping in the regeneration programme, including the paving around the museum. The excellent little leaflet will be available to visitors at the museum.
