SUMMER COURSES AT WEYMOUTH
SUMMER COURSES AT WEYMOUTH. Spurred on by the quality of students\' work in the end-of-term boss carving competition, Weymouth College in Dorset are opening their doors for 3-4 day courses in stone carving and raised lettering during the summer holidays. Chris Daniels, lecturer in architectural conservation, says: "We had a fantastic competition with some stunning work produced - especially by the younger students. With this in mind we have decided to open our doors in the summer when the students are away to offer some 3-4 day courses in stone carving and raised lettercutting. If any NSS readers would like to contact me (Tel: 01305 208955) to enrol we can run the course with as few as six people and so can tailor it to suit the students. All tools and materials will be provided."
