SUMMER COURSES AT WEYMOUTH. Spurred on by the quality of students\' work in the end-of-term boss carving competition, Weymouth College in Dorset are opening their doors for 3-4 day courses in stone carving and raised lettering during the summer holidays. Chris Daniels, lecturer in architectural conservation, says: "We had a fantastic competition with some stunning work produced - especially by the younger students. With this in mind we have decided to open our doors in the summer when the students are away to offer some 3-4 day courses in stone carving and raised lettercutting. All tools and materials will be provided."
