Thomann-Hanry spread some Christmas cheer to the children at Great Ormond Street hospital

Thomann-Hanry visited Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital in London just before Christmas to hand over a cheque for £5,885 that eight of the company's staff had raised in a marathon 300mile cycle ride from London to Paris earlier in the year.

Two of the Thomann-Hanry cyclists – Barry Donegan and Jules Liew – handed over the giant cheque after a tour of the hospital and seeing the impressive plans Great Ormond Street has to expand and redevelop a huge section of the hospital by 2017. Thomann-Hanry’s team met and chatted to Great Ormond Street staff about the work they do and the tremendous courage shown by the children in the hospital on a daily basis.

Barry Donegan said: “Having the chance to personally visit Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital is truly the cherry on top of the cake to end this effort. It means a great deal to us and we were honoured to be taking on this challenge in aid of such a great charity. We’d like to thank all those involved and, of course, Thomann-Hanry for all their support in helping us reach our financial aim.”

Thomann-Hanry offers scaffold-free façade cleaning and restoration from huge, enclosed cherry pickers. Originated in France, the environmentally-friendly, patented formula has been in operation in the UK since 2006.
