The Tile Association's Trailblazer apprentice plans are out for comment - deadline 16 December

The Government wants apprenticeships to be meaningful to the industry and to the apprentices.

The Trailblazer Apprenticeship Working Group of The Tile Association (TTA) has received positive feedback for its proposals for a new Trailblazer apprenticeship for wall and floor tilers from the Department of Education, the Department for Business Innovation & Skills (BIS) and the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). If you want to provide some feedback on the proposals, click here. It will take you through to a form, but it only has five questions so is not too onerous.

TTA would welcome any feedback from the sector to help with its work towards creating the new Apprenticeship. The feedback will support the submission to the Department of Education of the Trailblazer Apprenticeship Wall & Floor Tiler Qualification Standard.
