Trade Price Stone impresses the Tile Awards judges
Trade Price Stone, which specialises in supplying natural stone, was on the short-list of the Tile Awards for both the Floor Tile of the Year and Excellence in Marketing.
In Excellence in Marketing its promotion of its stone products in conjunction with the marketing support it offers customers attracted the judges eye and earned it a place among the finalists, while its Antique Gold Tumbled Limestone gained it a place in the finals of the floor tile category.
Trade Price Stone says its Antique Gold Tumbled Limestone is its best-selling new-to-market floor tile to date. During 2013, the company sold more than 1,600m2 of these tiles.
The limestone tile offers aesthetic and performance benefits and reflects the current trend for natural, tactile surfaces. It is a striking natural tile that provides a reliable, tough surface. Colour tones vary through white to cream and mellow yellow to subtle gold. An antique, tumbled finish reinforces the natural aesthetic and, if maintained correctly, the surface will deliver the same result for a lifetime.
Limestone is certainly popular as floors in the domestic sector but with its Antique Gold, Trade Price Stone says it saw an increased interest from retailers during 2013.
Another new line from Trade Price Stone is an addition to its growing range of Split Face Panels. New White Quartzite is a rectangular tile made from compact metamorphic quartzite rock. Its clean, bright whiteness makes it an ideal finish for both interiors and exteriors, in commercial and domestic applications. It is in stock in the UK for immediate delivery.
White quartzite creates stunning feature walls and can also brighten areas with low natural light. The elegant panels have a riven textured surface combined with machine sawn edges and backs for ease of installation. They are available in two formats: a deep variant ‘maxi’ of 8–20mm, which creates a prominent effect, and a shallower, more subtle ‘mini’ option with a face depth range of 8–15mm. Both the maxi and mini panels measure 600mm x 150mm and are offered with full CE mark data sheet.
Trade Price Stone offers standard three-day delivery (or next day on request) and alongside the floor tiles supplies all the necessary adhesives, grouts and sealants.
