NAMM memorial fixer training course – 8 April

A memorial fixer training course is being run by the National Association of Memorial Masons at its Training Centre in Rugby on Tuesday 8 April, 10am to 4pm.

The morning session of the course is designed to prepare candidates for the successful completion of the NAMM City and Guilds NPTC Assessment. It includes a comprehensive study of the NAMM Code of Working Practice and how it relates to the British Standard BS8415.

The course also includes practical advice and guidance on what will be expected on the NAMM City and Guilds Assessment day and provides a comprehensive understanding of accredited ground anchors and how they are applied.

The afternoon session is a practical demonstration using at least one of the accredited ground anchors. There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the demonstration.

Please note: This course is aimed at experienced masons to prepare them for the City & Guilds Assessment. However, non-experienced masons are welcome to attend to gain some understanding of the NAMM Code of Working Practice, to observe the practical demonstration and to see what is required of an experienced fixer.

Course fees: £300 + VAT per person (NAMM members: £175 + VAT)
