There were two natural quartzites joining the Sensa range from Cosentino previewed at the KBB exhibition at the NEC, Birmingham, in March.

Quartzite, a hard metamorphic rock like granite but with graining reminiscent of marble, making it an ideal choice for customers who want a natural material but do not want vulnerable marble in their kitchens.

Cosentino’s Sensa range is all natural stone but it has been vacuum impregnated after sawing and polishing with Senguard NK stain protection, developed by the Cosentino research & development team. It repels oils and waters and allows Sensa worktops to be supplied with a 15-year warranty.

The new quartzites added for this year are Taj Mahal and White Macaubas. They have a high polish finish.

The Sensa collection now includes sealed granite and quartzite surfaces, offering a wider choice and a selection of striking designs.

The impregnated Taj Mahal and White Macaubas, like the rest of the Sensa range, have a high level of protection against stain and even acidic foods and condiments, with no need for any special daily maintenance.
