Vote for your favourite project in the English Heritage Angel Awards

English Heritage has published a short-list of projects for its Angel Awards this year – and, as ever, there is a lot of stone in them.

You can see the short-listed projects and vote for your favourite to receive the English Heritage Followers' and Telegraph Readers' Favourite Award by clicking here. (Votes have to be cast by 12 October.)

The Angel Awards were started in 2011 in a collaboration between impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber and English Heritage to celebrate the efforts of individuals and local groups all over the country who put hours of hard work, passion and perseverance into saving vulnerable, damaged and derelict historic landmarks from being lost forever.

The 16 community groups and individuals behind this year's short-listed projects are now looking forward to attending a star-studded, red carpet awards ceremony hosted by Andrew Lloyd Webber at the Palace Theatre in London on the evening of Monday 3 November.

This is the first time the Awards will be presented in the evening. Previously they have been presented at lunchtime.
