Waters Group has started 2015 with a big change. It has announced its decision to end 30 years of selling Thibaut machinery.

Nicola Waters, Managing Director of the Waters Group, says she and her family who own the business (Daniel, Bryan and Sue) have taken this pro-active commercial decision after much discussion and thought.

Nicola tells NSS: "Every effort has gone into contacting all our customers over the past two days so we could communicate this news to them ourselves. We would like to take this opportunity to assure all our customers, whether they own a Thibaut machine or not, of our complete and on-going support to all areas of their business, including any Thibaut machinery they have bought through us.

"Our decision was made based on changes communicated to us by Thibaut at the close of 2014.

"Part of business is sometimes making difficult decision, embracing the necessary changes and moving forward in a different way than you had previously planned. We wish Thibaut well in the UK and Irish marketplaces for 2015 and beyond."

Both Waters Group and Thibaut will still be exhibiting at the Natural Stone Show at ExCeL London 28-30 April.
