Wells produces first multiblade

British stone processing machine manufacturer Wells Wellcut has developed its first multi-blade gantry saw.

Tim Miller, a Director at Grantham-based quarry company Goldholme Stone, came up with the idea to speed up production. Wells had built Goldholme a 3m gantry saw two years ago, which the company is delighted with. So Tim went back to Wells with the idea for a 1200mm multi-blade saw.

Wells is always happy to accept a challenge and set about building the saw. Goldholme prepared the concrete foundations for it and Wells installed the finished machine in under 12 hours.

Wells like the result so much it has added multi-blade gantry saws to its standard range.
