West Cork Stone Symposium is back 20-22 March

Enjoy the craic at the West Cork Stone Symposium, 20-22 March.

The West Cork Stone Symposium in Ireland, which has become hugely popular after just three events since its launch, will be back at the Sheep's Head Peninsular again this year for the fourth annual symposium.

Each year the event has grown in stature. Last year it was sold out well ahead of the start date, so if you want to be sure of getting a place on the Symposium this year be sure to book early.

There are stone carving and dry stone walling workshops you can book on to, with everyone welcome, from beginners to experts. There are also guided walks and tours on the Sheep's Head Peninsula as part of a full cultural programme that includes music, talks and exhibitions in and around the village of Durrus at the head of Dunmanus Bay.

You can book online here and take advantage of the multiday discounts using the codes 2DayCarving, 3DayCarving, 2DayWall and 3DayWall, which will cut the cost if you plan to spend more than one day at the event.

If you don't like the online booking process or need any other information, call Siobhán on +353 (0)86 303 0991. You can find full details about the local area on livingthesheepsheadway.com and thesheepsheadway.ie.

The festival is a non-profit event with all the craftspeople involved in presenting and instructing paid for their time.
