With more than 300 of Brett Landscaping's Approved Installers entering the supplier's Landscaping Awards this year, the judges certainly had a showcase of high-quality work to choose from.

The annual Brett Paving Awards have become something the company's Approved Installers anticipate with enthusiasm.

The awards are open to all Brett Approved Installers (BAIs) . They submit their portfolios for scrutiny by an independent judging panel of landscaping specialists, including online 'Paving Expert' Tony McCormack. Further awards for Contractors’ Choice were voted for at the event by the installers themselves.

The Awards include a category for best Natural Stone Sales Performance, which went to Stokes Baldock Ltd, based in Tudeley, Kent.

Woods Paving, of Benfleet, Essex, secured the event’s top prize of National Installer of the Year after first winning Regional Installer of the Year (South East).

Robert Wood was delighted with his success. “It’s tremendous to have been acknowledged within two separate categories at the Brett Approved Installer Awards," he said. "It demonstrates how Woods Paving is excelling within its field in terms of quality, installation, design and versatility.”

While Kent-based Paramount Paving, judged National Installer of the Year for the past two years, was narrowly beaten to the top spot this year, it still managed to secure two category wins for Outstanding Project Portfolio and Best Small Driveway, as well as being runner-up in other categories.

ProPave and Leicester Drives & Gardens were the other Regional Installer winners for the South West and North, respectively. Leicester Drives & Gardens also took home the award for Best Large Patio.

Rounding out the driveway and patio awards was Bowen Paving Ltd, which won the Best Large Driveway and Best Small Patio categories, earning itself the Muddy Boots Award along the way.

More than 30 BAIs received recognition in the Awards by either winning or having their work commended, which Brett's understandly consider a testament to the strength of the BAI scheme.

During the Awards event, Brett Landscaping & Building Products showcased the company’s relaunched Gardens & Drives brochure, which incorporates many previous BAI-winning installations.

And even as Brett Landscaping was handing out its Awards, it unexpectedly found itself the recipient of an award by being named Southern region ‘Supplier of the Year’ by Buildbase.
