Letchworth Garden City’s town centre has undergone a dramatic £8million transformation by Skanska UK. Moseldon York stone from Marshalls and ‘oatmeal’ and pearl granite from Miller Druck International have been laid using a variety of products from Ultrascape, starting with Pro-Bed HS bedding mortar, followed by Pro-Prime slurry primer and finished with Flowpoint flowable grout. Supplied in 30 tonne silos, Pro-Bed HS is ideal for large scale streetscapes. And it is now also available in a more environmentally friendly version called Pro-Bed HS Eco that contains six tonnes of recycled glass instead of virgin aggregate in each silo.
