Part of the Blockstone group with blocks available from the Block Store at Cadeby Quarry as well as from Neston. Base Bed is uniform light-cream in colour with occasional veins and a slightly larger amount of shell content than the Top Bed.

Re-opened in 2013, the uniform cream-coloured stone with occasional veins and shell is once again available.
