Construction output is up again – this time 2.4% in the second quarter of the year compared to the same period in 2014.

According to the Office for National Statistics, upward pressure came from all areas of new work, which increased by 1.0%. Leading the way were private new housing, infrastructure and public other new work, increasing by 3.9%, 0.5% and 1.2%, respectively.
