Factory gate prices stayed well below the rate of inflation in November. In the year to November the Output Price Index for goods produced by UK manufacturers (factory gate prices) rose 0.8%, the same as in the year to October, according to figures published on 17 December by the Office for National Statistics. The Consumer Price Index grew by 2.1% and the Retail Price Index by 2%.
