Frank England & Co Ltd was purchased from the Pisani Group by its management just over 12 months ago. Without doubt it has been a challenging journey, says Nick Livermore, Managing Director, but an interesting one for all the team at the new, independent company, with many changes being actioned throughout the organisation.

A key ingredient of the business is ‘design’, both of memorials and the ornaments which embellish them. “We are currently in the final stages of launching a new range of memorials to emphasize the skills of our design staff and a new brochure will be available in the coming weeks. We have also opened an indoor showroom at our Retford factory where the quality of our products is clear to see.

Frank England has concentrated on the manufacture and supply of high quality memorials to the trade for more than 100 years and, says Nick: “We are proud of that heritage but also mindful of the changing market. Our production facility is set up for processing from the basic raw materials through to quality finished products that can be everything from simple tablets, lawn memorials and churchyard stones right up to bespoke commissions – and because we can do it all ourselves we can guarantee delivery dates.

“As we always have, we offer a significant range of granites from around the globe and, to complement this, we also manufacture from Yorkstone, White Carrara marble and Nabresina. We are currently in the process of integrating new order processing and accounting software to streamline our systems and are confident that all the changes at Frank England enable us to satisfy memorial enquiries, no matter how large or small, simple or complex.”
