There was a lot of stone among the finalists of the English Heritage Angel Awards presented at the Palace Theatre in Shaftesbury Avenue, London, on 21 October. Backed by impresario Andrew Lloyd Webber and the Daily Telegraph newspaper, the host for the Awards this year – the third year they have been presented – was TV's Flog It presenter Paul Martin.
