This is Chris Berridge as he prepares to be Team UK’s stonemasonry representative at WorldSkills London 2011. He is now on an intense training programme with his Training Manager, Kevin Calpin, at York Minster and will also attend York College to practice his techniques. At the end of July, he spent four days with the Brathay Trust in the Lake District learning how to cope with the pressure he will face at WorldSkills in ExCeL London 5-8 October.
