Three surface protectors from Fila have been awarded GEV-Emicode EC1 Plus – the highest level of Emicode eco-certification. 

The products include: pre-grouting protector Fila PRW200; grout stain protector Fila Fugaproof; and  a stain protector for natural stone, terracotta, concrete and unpolished surfaces, Fila W68.

Certification is awarded to products classified as ‘very low emission’, giving the best possible assurance against indoor air pollution, offering a high level of health protection and environmental compatibility.

GEV is the Association for the Control of Emissions in Products for Flooring Installation, Adhesives & Building Materials. It provides independent assessments designed to assure the highest level of consumer and environmental protection. Emicode is a quality control scheme which awards labels to modern, solvent-free, 

low-emission building materials. It is valid for all European markets.
